Attention: SCI Members

Jon Stram's picture

Greetings from Jon Stram of ScopeShield™! As the owner and founder of ScopeShield, I’d like to introduce you to customized ScopeShields. As a former member of the Board of Directors of the Anchorage, Alaska Chapter of SCI, I’m well aware of the banquet planning and fundraising needs of each local SCI chapter.

Customized ScopeShields are the best way to help you showcase SCI and your local SCI chapter.

Welcoming a New Bundle of Joy

To my great surprise, grandchildren have become one of the greatest joys in my life. This past weekend, my middle daughter was presented with another joy, joining my previous six joys.

Beep! Repaired!

The experiences I've had over the past few weekends serve as important reminders of one of the most unforgettable, best all time slogans from the Boy Scouts: "Be prepared."

Walking It In: Sighting Your Scope

A new weekly feature for the ScopeShield website will be an article, blog, column, or whatever you'd like to call it that I hope will either educate you, inspire you, infuriate you, or cause you to break

out laughing! I'm calling it "Walking It In" and whether you're familiar with the terminology or not, I'll explain just what I mean by "Walking it in", and what it means to me.

Now there's a topic that each of us is concerned about in virtually every facet of our lives. If my bank account is not secure, it doesn’t matter how much or how little I have in that account if it can be wiped out in

an instant. If my computer is not secure, a virus or hacker can wipe out everything I’ve been working on in the blink of an eye. If I don’t take care of my health, I could lose my life. I’m not trying to be overly dramatic here, but without adequate protection in every area of our lives, we are very much at risk.

Lessons In Moving On

You've got your sights set on your destination. You can see it - You can almost TASTE it. Your plan is good, everything points toward success. All you have to do is grasp it and hold on tight.
