To my great surprise, grandchildren have become one of the greatest joys in my life. This past weekend, my middle daughter was presented with another joy, joining my previous six joys.
As you’ll soon realize, I have a lot of joy in my life. In early February I’ll be traveling to Alaska, another one of the joys in my life, with my wife of almost 37 years, Juanita. Other than my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who will eternally remain the primary source of comfort in my life, my wife is the source of the greatest joy I have experienced in my 59 years of living.
In about two weeks time, we will leave to meet the newest bundle of joy in our lives for the first time. We’ll be flying up to help our middle daughter, Jenessa, with her first child Rashaan, a baby boy born just this last weekend on January 18th, 2014. Jenessa, her brother and two sisters are the four children that Juanita and I have been blessed with. And I do mean blessed! Juanita, all four of our children and our growing family have been, and will always remain joys in my life.
